So two in one day,

either i am getting motivated or have homework, one or the other. you cna figure out which it is. so i was thinking about a couple of things that i am doing right now.

I am trying to write a couple of articles for SPEWS(new link), and i am shooting blanks. i know where iw ant to go, i have the middle, it's the beginning that always gets me. And that's where it hit me.

Okay, i do not think writing papers for someone else is a good thing, it is cheating, and nothing good comes from those who cheat. I follow a code that says i will not lie, cheat, or steal or tolerate anyone who does, however... what if we could make College MAD LIBS. Basically a seven to ten page paper with random words, and paragraphs left out. THe you could have these underlind and written under that it would say adjective here, noun here, statistic here, doctoral thesis here. you know, whatever. now the people who bought these would not be stealing, they are creating their own work, they just had a helping hand along the way.

so, what doy ou think? it would work.

another thing, howcome finding a job is so difficult. ia m getting married and need to find a second job. now i work at a lovely place and i get full time hours, a good paycheck, benefits, sick leave, and insurance, but i still cannot pay for a wedding(next topic). so i am trying to find a second job,a dn it is become damn near impossible to get it, it is like you cannot go to school, work full time, part time and try to plan fro a wedding. And i say why not. we can sleep when we are dead.

So weddings, pretty expensive. if in had tro do this one over agian i would definately elope. i love my fiance/wife, what i do not like is a the money that is being drawn from my cold lifeless hands, or not being able to control what is going on. i mean seriously folks, how many people do we need in this wedding. oh, the answer is 26, and three sets of parents(i have a father in Alabama).

Another thing, anyone thinking about do what you love for a living? Stop! get into weddings, your die a rich, unhappy person, but at least you will be rich. then once you have all the starving college students money, you can retire and do what you want.

Shameless Plugs and reigning Dark Lords of the Sith

So i have placed a couple more links on my blog. Two are for a band that started in Medford and now is rocking the indy circuit in the Pacific-northwest. Although i hate "my space", one is their "my space" blog, and the other is a radiolink broadcasting songs from their new ep.

The other is for my friend Willie, the Dark Lord of the Sith. Okay,not really, but it does kinda roll off the tongue nicely. Willie is the Webmaster for SPEWS, and a fairly interesting modern poet, and soon to be national jowling master. anyways, check out the links, most anyone who reads this already probably has read his stuff already, but i want to be curtious to him. he is after all my friend, and has linked to me for about a month. time to get off my ass and return the favor. anywho. enjoy.

A Little Rant

So this term i am taking it light. Not because i am lazy(although that might be possible too), but because i was unable to get into the classes that i wanted. I needed to make twelve credits, so i am taking worthless classes. That being said, one of those worthless(not that they are worthless, just worthless to me. i am sure somebody likes the class) classes is an english class. A modern world literature class. So far we have discussed canada. And that my friends is what this rant is about. does anyone else think canada is what the british forgot and the united states didn't want. The only part of canada that i see anyone really wanted was french canadia by hte french, but they are french. who knows why they do anything, but i digress, this has nothing to do with french people or their crazy ways. no this has to do with canada and the fact they have their noses in the air.

so we had to read somes cbc articles about the war in afganistan. so i did not think canada went to war anymore. i thought they were like switzerland and sat on fences posts. oh well. the cbc kinda is waterdown version of the bbc. if you get the bbc, their is no reason to watch/read the cbc. they don't even make up the truth like fox or cnn, they just tell boring shit in a boring place.

Also, canadian films don't make any sense. We had to watch a movie caled "Paint Cans" (which i will give more time to later). Now this movie, acting wise, was very good. THe one good thing that has come out of Canada, other then some beer, is there actors and comedians. So good job canada for breeding geniuses of the stage.

Anywho, my whole bit is saying that everything i have studied of canada(i got curious after reading some of my homework, so i looked up more canadian stories)is that canada has a too high opinion of themselves, and needs to ahve a reality check.

Anyways, i am not the one to do it. i just think someone should.

Also, their will be a link to probably one of the funniest commercials canada has ever produced later today once i find the url(i put it someplace so i would remember, and of course i forgot where it is). that is really not saying to much.
