The Kite Runner So a few weeks ago i asked Kevin what i should read over the summer and he gave me a list of books to read. One of those books was the kite runner by Khaled Hosseini. I finished it today, and i must say that i liked it. it was not as great as the reviews, but it was not that bad. i do not think that if we were at war right now it would have the same reviews or hype as it does now. if you want some light fictional reading, go for it. but it is definately not neccessary for any lexicon of allusions.
