I would like to take this time to say that i made a slight error in my post of Mike Singer. Supposedly he is a Professor of Symbology at the University of Montana. However, i was led astray. He is not a professor of symbology, however their are professors of symbology, or as they call them professors of semiotics(referring to John Locke's "An essay on Human Understanding.) Most Major Universities have a graduate program in that, however harvard does not.

My failing in my post is what happens when you mix google and blogs. Again sorry for the misunderstanding, but case in point, the doctorate still fing exists, just under a different name. Thanks.

And so the mystery is solved. Still good to know since I didn't have to do the research myself.
